Successful stock market securities forecasting should be based on clear signals, facts, and statements that support each other. In this matter, I try to detect such motivators, put together certain information from different disciplines, and draw correct conclusions for the future outcome of a stock price. My experience as an investor has sharpened my information
colleting skills. Furthermore, I understand the importance of avoiding making decisions that are based on emotions. Here is my method: I set a clear trading strategy. Then, I remain patient and diligent until the expected scenario comes true.

My personal trading strategy:

  1. Time frame: 1-20 weeks to achieve goal.
  2. Total investment amount: 20% of savings.
  3. Chance/Risk relationship: 1/1 or 2/1 [means: from the price bought, you are ready to make gains by factor 2 and sell losses by factor 1. For example: sell when the price exceeds 3,5 % and sell when price of share drops 1,75%. My personal factor depends on my chance/risk expectations of a stock.
  4. Place a stop loss. On a personal note when you check stocks daily or as a trade order.
  5. Don't let your emotions get you and influence your previous set goals. Control fear and greed!
  6. Make up your personal market opinion.
  7. Manage your risks, also according to what is emotional bearable to you.
  8. Study charts and stock related financial data.
  9. Observe a stock before adding to portfolio for a period of 3 weeks.
  10. Study, as far as available, company financial data.

Market situation as of the first quarter of 2011:

I would advise to divide the portfolio in two types of securities: one part with securities gaining on momentum like a call on silver and tech. firms and another part with defensive shares like Fresenius medical care and McDonalds.
